Who remembers this movie?

This is a fan art of the 1994 rendition of Thumbelina.

Probably no one simply because it came out the same year as Lion King, and was sevrely overshadowed. But it was a lovely movie none the less. I don't remember much about it any more at all...I just watched the song over, and I died just watching how inlove they were when they sang this song. The way he wanted all her attention, how she so lovingly caressed his face, how much emotion there was in the animation. Spectacular. That was Animation in it's prime. They moved so realistically.

It took me SO LONG just to get the right emotion in their eyes, which I hope makes this picture more powerful.
The way he is holding her, I was going for a gentle sort of protection, and the way she's holding onto him, I was trying for a gentle "Don't let me go" kind of thing with a tad bit of "Stay with me".
I'm actually rather proud of this piece. It's probably my best romantic picture to date. I was just so inspired by the song. I also love the slight angle to his face. In short, I love this picture, I love this movie, I hope you love this fanart.
